If you are reading this you may or may not be unfamiliar to the title of this blog post. For many in our communities this topic is reality, yet a taboo conversation among males and their families. The underlying emotion is SHAME. With the ongoing narrative from the beginning of time being the ability for males to recreate and populate the earth, the lack there of is hurting and often causes PRIDE to take hold.
This will be a place of community that will rise up against these hindrances and construct positive and informative dialogue around this topic. I am no expert, yet I am a male dealing with this same issue. Only 27 years old and my life has been rocked at the thought that I can not provide for my wife the blessing of a life. I felt the way many of you still do, lonely, afraid, ashamed...yet, I have been able to fight against it all in FAITH!
This will be a community of FAITH! My wife and I have not given up on what God has shown us in the blessing of a child. We are prepared for whatever He throws our way. We believe that this is just an opportunity to be their for others that are dealing with the same issues and concerns.
Peculiar means strange, different from the rest, called out, a special possession from God. I believe that if you are a male with male Factor infertility, this is God choosing you for a special assignment.
Let me be your brother in this journey...Let's walk together in the road to becoming Dads.
